Frequently asked questions about our restaurant:

 

Do I have to pre-book a table in the restaurant?

Yes, all guests are asked to pre-book a table and time in the restaurant. Guests who does not book in advance will have a time chosen for them. In the worst case you might risk that there is no available table when you arrive at the hotel.

 

What menu do you offer?

The hotel's restaurant offers a four and six course menu. On selected dates there may be special menus. The hotel does not offer a la carte menu, but we do offer vegetarian, vegan and cater to other dietary restrictions as long as we are aformed well ahead of time. 

 

Are children allowed in the restaurant?

Dalen Hotel is best suited for adults and the dining experience is adapted to an adult audience with a calm atmosphere. There are no special adjustments made to prices, menus or activities for children.

Is there a dress code?

In the evening, the restaurant has a dress code, and we want our guests to dress properly. 
Shorts are not permitted and it is possible to borrow a blazer at the hotel in case you have forgotten yours. 

 

I want to celebrate a special occasion, do you have chambre séparée or the opportunity to rent the whole hotel?

Both options are available. We recommend that you contact the hotel if you are planning a special occasion to ensure you have the best possible experience.

Is there free parking?


There is free parking for guests staying overnight or visiting the restaurant.

 

Can I charge my electric vehicle with you?


Yes, we have electric car chargers on site. The charging is managed by EasyPark, we recommend all guests who charge to download the app to this before arrival. 

 

When is check-in and check-out?

Check in is from 15:00. 
Check-out the next morning is by 11:00. 
Late check-out can be ordered together with afternoon tea on the day of departure. (NB, limited capacity)

 

We are a family with adults and children, what do you recommend us?

The hotel's rooms only have capacity for two guests per room. A family of more than two must therefore book two or more rooms. This applies regardless of the age of the children.

 

Can I take my dog to Dalen Hotel?

Your dog is most welcome, with some small reservations. Contact us directly for reservation. The dog is welcome in the reception, in the room and the hotel's outdoor areas. Our lounges, main hall and the restaurant are restricted areas for dogs. 
There is an additional charge for cleaning and maintenance.
We remind you to restraint your dog on the hotel property due to our ducks living in the garden and the safety of our guests.

 

How to book an appointment at Soria Moria

Soria Moria can be booked for a shared time for our hotel guests. 
Private bookings can be made through Tokke municipality and is made directly on their website, click here.

 

Can I smoke in the hotel or on my balcony?

Dalen Hotel non-smoking, also the balconies. Smoking only in designated places. This also applies to e-cigarettes

Transgressions will be charged.
