Dalen Hotel in Telemark is one of the most iconic historic hotels in Norway. Built in 1894 in the unique “Dragon” architectural style, the majestic wooden building resembles something directly out of a fairytale. The hotel features 49-rooms, grand hall, historic lounges, and a fine dining restaurant. Completely renovated in the mid-90s, the hotel now stands as a very well maintained and operated full-service hotel.
The unique property is member of “historiske hoteller og spisesteder” and is owned and operated by Norwegian Hospitality Group, who owns and operates 8 other hotels in the Oslo fjord region and Strömstad. Dalen Hotel is open seasonally from April to October and has its peak season in the summer months.
