The bus departs from the bus terminal in Skien, taking you to Ulefoss center.
From Ulefoss you must change to a new route that takes you to Lunde lock.
Once in Lunde, you'll board the historic canal ship for a serene journey downstream to Skien.
Along the way, you'll traverse 5 locks, among them the grand Vrangfoss, boasting 5 chambers and standing as the largest lock in the canal.

Practical information during the canal cruise:
Parking:
Your car can be parked at the parking lot at Hjellebrygga pier free of charge.
Be aware that you need a parking permit to avoid fines.
Collect it from the ticket office at Hjellebygga at arrival.
Meals on board:
There is a restaurant on board.
It is possible to prebook lunch with your tickets.
You can also order food directly at the boat from their menu without prebooking.
If you book tickets for 10 persons or more, we recommend that you prebook meals on board.
It is not possible to book a table for the entire journey, and you can’t bring your own food and drink on board.
Bus:
We use two public bus routes from Vy; Line R1 from Skien to Ulefoss, and line 103 from Ulefoss to Lunde.
It takes approx. 10 minutes to walk from Hjellebrygga pier to Skien bus terminal, called Landmannstorget.
In Lunde, the bus stops approx. 200 meters from the lock.

Rate:
Adults from 16 years: NOK 921,- per adult.
Children 4-15 years: NOK 316,- per child.
Children 0-3 years: Free of charge
