Embark on a journey aboard one of the historic canal ships through impressive lock systems and into the majestic mountain landscape.
This tour takes you through five remarkable lock systems, including the magnificent Vrangfoss, which is the largest facility in the Telemark Canal.

Practical information during the canal cruise:
Parking:
Your car can be parked at the parking lot 200 meters from Ulefoss lock.
There is no need for parking permit.
While driving from Ulefoss center, the parking lot is reached about 200 meters before the lock.
It is marked with a parking sign (a large “P”) and the symbol for the Telemark Canal (a boat in a lock).
Meals on board:
There is a restaurant on board.
It is possible to prebook lunch with your tickets.
You can also order food directly at the boat from their menu without prebooking.
If you book tickets for 10 persons or more, we recommend that you prebook meals on board.
It is not possible to book a table for the entire journey, and you can’t bring your own food on board.
Bus:
There is a change of bus in Seljord.
The buses are corresponding and will wait for each other.
In Ulefoss, the bus stops approx. 100 meters from the parking lot.

Rate:
Adults from 16 years: From NOK 1322,- to NOK 1407,- per adult.
Children 4-15 years: NOK 333,- per child.
Children 0-3 years: Free of charge
