Daytrip: Ulefoss – Kviteseid – Ulefoss
Join the Queen of the canal through the impressive locks of the canal, and into the beautiful mountain scenery. We will sail through 5 flights of locks before we continue up the river and the landscape opens up to the idyllic lakes and steep mountain areas in upper Telemark.

Practical information during the canal cruise:
Parking:
Your car can be parked free of charge at the parking lot 200 meters from Ulefoss lock.
There is no need for parking permit.
While driving from Ulefoss center, the parking lot is reached about 200 meters before the lock.
It is marked with a parking sign (a large “P”) and the symbol for the Telemark Canal (a boat in a lock)
Meals on board:
There is a restaurant on board.
It is possible to prebook lunch with your tickets.
You can also order food directly at the boat from their menu without prebooking.
If you book tickets for 10 persons or more, we recommend that you prebook meals on board.
It is not possible to book a table for the entire journey, and you can’t bring your own food on board.
Bus:
There is a change of bus in Seljord.
The buses are corresponding and will wait for each other.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, you must wait for the bus for a little over 2 hours in Kviteseid.
Kviteseid:
Kviteseid Pier Café is located at the Kviteseid pier.
Here you can enjoy good food and beverage while you wait for the bus.
It is most likely open between mid-June until mid-August.
There are also other cafes in the area.

Rate:
Adults from 16 years: From NOK 1045,- to NOK 1115,- per adult.
Children 4-15 years: NOK 319,- per child.
Children 0-3 years: Free of charge
