Sommelier wanted

We are looking for new sommeliers to join our team and raise the level a little more in Restaurant Bandak. The sommelier will assist the restaurant manager with the daily selection of wines for the wine package, the development of our wine cellar, acquiring of new wine, and daily wine tastings. During service, you work with the waiters in your own station, but will have an extended wine responsibility. 

 

About you: 

  • Genuinely interested in creating the best guest experience 

  • High competence in etiquette and classic fine dining 

  • Knowledgeable and interested in food and drinks 

  • Good collaboration skills and is solution-oriented 

  • Structured and responsibile  

  • A positive attitude 

  • Experience from similar positions from previous 

  • Fluent in English, both spoken and in writing 

 

Tasks: 

  • Responsible for wines during service 

  • Assist Restaurant Manager in daily wine related tasks such as wine packages and acquiring wines 

  • Responsible for daily wine tastings
